Yoga delivers benefits for the mind and the body

Kundalini Yoga was brought to the west by Yogi Bhajan in the late 1960's and
has been spreading throughout the western world ever since. It differs from
most other forms of yoga in using techniques which are designed to be fast acting.
What Can It Do For Me?
The benefits of Kundalini Yoga can be immense. The more work you put in the
more you gain. The first level benefits are:-
More intensive practice helps with more serious problems
- Increased fitness and flexibility
- Reduction in anxiety
- Improved ability to deal with stress
- Back Ache
Stress puts our system out of balance.
Tense muscles and an over-excited nervous system are the most obvious imbalances
but other systems are affected too
such as the respiratory (breathing) system , endocrine (glandular) system
and lymphatic system (removal of toxins).
Yoga affects us at a deeper level than normal exercise, it stimulates
these systems into enhanced operation using an
understanding of the relationships between them. This gives an all over
improved sense of well being. Health problems that are caused by or made
worse by stress can be alleviated by yoga.
